Jennifer Tilly's birth occurred at Los Angeles, California on September 16th 1958. The birth circumstances were miserable. Her mother, who was a failing schoolteacher and actor, made a living selling automobiles, while her father worked as an automobile salesman. Jennifer, the second of her family's four children, frequently attended her mother to her theater performances and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's parents divorced at the age of 5 years young. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood living in British Columbia after her mom relocated there with her four siblings. Jennifer was not a scholar however, as a child she was a talented artist. In Canadian schools, her experiences resulted in her becoming often the target of bullying. When she was in high school, her love for theatre began to fade. In an effort to counter this, her mom helped her to be an extra in a variety of productions. The mother of her children encouraged the entire family to become passionate about art. Immediately after that she started taking action.
