Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to acquire storage units at low prices. They had no idea they would make them reality-TV celebrities. In the course of the series, they became stars. The success of reality TV helped the business of the couple and allowed them to expand. Following their appearance on the show "Storage Wars," the spin-off show "Brandi and Jarrod: Married To the Work" was produced specifically for their show.
