Yael Stone
Stone was raised within Sydney, Australia, where she went to Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone's acting career began as a child, when she appeared as a character in Me Myself I. and The Farm. Her main focus was theatre. She won Best Newcomer in the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and the award for Best Supporting Actress in The Kid. In addition, she worked on TV with supporting roles, such as All Saints and Spirited. Between 2010 and 2011she was a part of The Diary of a Madman, a role for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the Sydney Theatre Awards. In February 2011 she traveled to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman and then returned to the the lead roles of A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
